SST families and therapists
a very happy and healthy 2021-2022 school year!
Please be sure to meet with our Front Desk to finalize your fall therapy plans!
As most of you know, COVID19 and the Delta Variant continues to rear its ugly head. For this reason and because SST has always adhered to the CDC's guidelines for COVID19, we are updating our policy to stay in line with CDC recommendations. Our clinic is located in Delaware County which is currently in the “substantial” transmission category.
Updated Policy per the Centers for Disease Control:
'When You’ve Been FULLY VACCINATED--How to Protect Yourself and Others’
Updated July 27, 2021
To maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission.
For this reason, SST is requesting staff, families, and clients (ages 2 and over) wear a mask or face covering in our lobby and clinic.
During an individualized therapy session, because wear a mask or face covering is not appropriate for some types of therapy or clients, it shall be left to the therapist’s discretion if a mask or face covering will be requested or is needed.
Please note that our policy for UNVACCINATED staff, clients, and families to wear a mask or facial covering and adhere SST’s other COVID-19 safety precautions (social distancing, hand washing and temp check upon arrival, etc.) remains unchanged.
I know none of us are thrilled about having to take a step back with mask wearing after being vaccinated but please know we feel it is important to do our part to help continue to combat this virus.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
