The benefits of an ongoing language group are endless:

• Be an advocate of early intervention by helping your child achieve age-appropriate speech and language skills before the enter school.
  
• Early intervention also increases academic performance and confidence when your child begins school
  
• Socialization with peers and conversational skills can be encouraged so that your child is well-rounded and prepared for the interactions required at school-age.
  
• Carryover of expressive and receptive language skills in a naturalistic setting with peers and adults.
  

Group is scheduling now for 2-5 year olds. Sessions will run Tuesdays from 1:00-2:30 beginning September 9th, 2008 and Wednesdays from 11:30-12:30 beginning September 3rd, 2008 and enrollment is limited so reserve your child’s spot as soon as possible!

Language group will continue to be thematically structured with circle time, gross motor activities, art/craft activities and snack time. There will be one licensed Speech Pathologist for every 3-4 children enrolled. Parent handouts and progress reports are also included as part of the program.
