The benefits of an ongoing language group are endless:

• Be an advocate of early intervention by helping your child achieve age-appropriate speech and language skills before the enter school.
  
• Early intervention also increases academic performance and confidence when your child begins school
  
• Socialization with peers and conversational skills can be encouraged so that your child is well-rounded and prepared for the interactions required at school-age.
  
• Carryover of expressive and receptive language skills in a naturalistic setting with peers and adults.
  

Group is scheduling now for 2-5 year olds and 10-14 year olds. We will consider any qualified school-aged child for the groups. Each child will be placed within a group that is most appropriate for their individual skill level.

Sessions will run:

• Tuesdays from 1:00-2:00 for Pre-K Groups
• Wednesdays from 11:30-12:30 for Pre-K Groups
• Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00 for Middle School

Enrollment is limited so reserve your child’s spot as soon as possible!

Language groups will continue to be thematically structured with circle time, gross motor activities, art/craft activities and snack time. Activities will be age-appropriate depending on Pre-K vs. Middle School Groups. There will be one licensed Speech Pathologist for every 4-5 children enrolled. Parent handouts and progress reports are also included as part of the program.

• Cost is $55.00 per 1 hour session; sessions may be covered by medical insurance. Please check with your insurance company for your plan benefit details. For any Delaware DD families, please check with your administrator for approval.
